Drive for a Difference
Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford is honored to host our annual charity campaign, DRIVE FOR A DIFFERENCE, a program that has been at the heart of our community since 2021. Since its inception Fred Anderson's DRIVE FOR A DIFFERENCE has allowed us to give back to the communities that have supported us for so many years, fostering a deep relationship with our dealership and the communities we serve.
Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford has had a long-standing tradition of supporting charitable organizations, and DRIVE FOR A DIFFERENCE has become a key part of that legacy. Through DRIVE FOR A DIFFERENCE, we contribute $5000 each month to local charities with our employees and customers playing an active role in selecting the recipients. This program is a reflection of our commitment to making a meaningful impact in our community year after year.
We proudly partner with several impactful organizations in our community:
Bread of Life Ministries, Meals for Life Outreach: Bread of Life Ministries provides nutritious meals and essential support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Through its Meals for Life Outreach, the organization serves the Sanford community with compassion, dignity, and a commitment to meeting immediate needs.
Boys & Girls Club of Central Carolina: The Boys & Girls Club of Central Carolina provides a safe, supportive space for youth to learn, grow, and thrive. Through educational programs, mentorship, and enrichment activities, the organization helps young people build confidence and life skills.
Helping Hands Clinic: Helping Hands Clinic is a Sanford-based nonprofit providing free medical, dental, vision, pharmaceutical, and mental health referral services to uninsured and low-income residents of Lee County. Supported by volunteers and community donations, the clinic delivers essential care, medications, and treatment assistance, serving as a vital healthcare safety net for those most in need.
Haven of Lee County: Provides safe and free room and board for women, men and their children as they leave abusive situations and seek long-term housing and healing. Helping people heal from abuse as we work to end domestic violence and sexual assault through community, education, intervention, and primary prevention.
Boys & Girls Clubs of North Carolina: Provides support to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
